I left for a family vacation in St. Joseph Michigan a week ago. Stayed at a house with our own private lake in the back, and a neighborhood with roads that were nicely empty enough for daily runs and wanderings. Hate to have to to report this especially since it was suppose to be a vacation; but bad news, is that there was NO WIFI!! can you believe that? what century are we living in?? In St. Joseph Michigan as weather goes, it was literally winter there; because it was pretty much super cloudy and windy the whole time we were there, and I swear they don’t know the meaning of the word “sun”. Also family vacations either turn into complete disasters or great memories that you will remember for the rest of your life, and this one will definitely not go in the books as one of the best family vacays. One of the best family vacations I can remember us going on was when just all three of my sisters my brother, and my parents and I went to Canada; that i can say is at the VERY TOP of the list. But this vacation to me was a bit, whats the word for it, “forced”, I think It just feels that way because there are a lot of changes going on. You know at a appoint in family vacations when it appears that family members has reached the “leave me alone” phase, where you all just need to be apart from one another for one minute. Hence me retreating to a good book by the the lake(currently reading: Mindy Kaling; Is everyone Hanging Out Without Me?). So I Got this really cute vintage dress by Voodoo Vixen, and with all the green and flowers I thought it would perfect for a warm day out in the sun. I got this super cute matching flower headpiece that I recently purchased from Urban Outfitters, this is my first go at a flower head-band so tell me what you guys think. So on this vacation everyone refused to take my photos I kept asking but everyone always oh so busy (which I get); Some people just don’t get that fashion blogger determination. So my cute niece Nadia( bless her heart) took a lot of these pictures. I paired this dress with one of my favorite shoes(almost a signature of mine), they’re Tommy Hilfiger vintage espadrilles. The main area part of the dress is green so I decided to make that the main focus, which is why the shoes are black, so I let the dress and flower headpiece do the talking.
P.S. I literally tried to camouflage into the bushes with this dress. Thanks so much to Voodoo Vixen for the dress! I Love IT!
